About Us

Sisters Haven is a faith based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides safe housing and a loving community to pregnant women and mothers with children without judgment. We serve adult women who are experiencing homelessness, poverty and lack a support system to help them through pregnancy. Sisters Haven will have capacity for six pregnant women to stay until the child is approximately nine months old in a single family home in the Cudell neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio. The location provides a large public park next door, close proximity to an RTA station, a CVS, a church, thrift store and numerous possibilities for employment. Sisters Haven will provide programming within the home that supports growth in a woman’s confidence, character and ability to parent responsibly.

We will accomplish this through recognizing each woman’s individuality and developing goals focused on her unique physical, emotional, mental, faith and family needs. We will further develop community goals and requirements that will enable a woman to experience a home filled with love, support and respect. We will also continue to help women with employment, education and further housing needs as we believe that all women who choose to live in Sisters Haven will always remain a part of our Christ-centered family.

There is a need for our program as there is no similar supportive housing community for pregnant women on the west side of Cleveland. This need is expected to grow.
