Donating appreciated stock can be a tax-efficient way to make a meaningful gift in support of Sisters Haven. By gifting appreciated securities that you have held for more than one year, you may be eligible to receive a charitable deduction for the fair market value of the securities while avoiding capital gains tax on the appreciation.
